Changing of the Guard

Now that we have a home computer and internet, Clay has officially resigned as blogger and turned that task over to me! I hope my hubbie will continue to make appearances on the blog, as he is much funnier than I am, and Sabrina seems to say more interesting things when he's around.

Here are some updated pictures:

Gracie's take home outfit (if ever she is born), a present from my mom

The new shelf for Gracie's room (thanks to the Ramsey's for tipping us onto the Midtowne Antique store--the red shelf was $10!)

Update

We are fully in waiting mode at this point. Jennifer is now 38 1/2 week, which means Gracie could come at any minute, or it could be a couple of weeks. The aniticipation is pretty intense.
We've had a busy couple of weeks...My family threw us a great shower...
We hosted a Sunday School potluck...
Jennifer's roommate from OBU, Laura, visited...

Jennifer wrapped up her school year a couple weeks early for some much needed rest and relaxation (this is her leaving for her last day of school)...

We put the finishing touches on the nursery...

Everything is in order...now we just wait until she get's here!

Work Shower

My office threw a shower for us yesterday. We feel blessed to have such great friends, family and co-workers who have taken such good care of us at showers over the past few weeks. Here are some pictures from the shower.

Fun With Kids

We had several of Jennifer's students and their families over for a cookout last night. These were the kids who scored at least 80 points throughout the year in the accelerated reader program. Fortunately, it stopped raining literally 30 seconds before the first kid arrived. Otherwise, we would have had about 20 kids and their parents inside our house eating hotdogs. Outside was much more fun for all involved!

Hi, it's Jennifer, making my first comment on my own blog. :) When I first saw the picture above, I thought, "Who is that girl with the big belly?" Oops! It's me! :)
I have the BEST husband in the world. He helped dish out dogs and beans and helped to make sure everything went smoothly at the cookout.
