Gracie is 2!

Gracie had such a fun birthday! She had two parties. The first in Branson, MO with Clay's side of the family. We all went up to Table Rock Lake and spent a few days. Here's a group picture with Mimi and Papa, Aunt Dana (with Maggie Jane in utero), Uncle Matt, and the Swager clan (Tim, Jaynie, Lauren, Rebecca, Erik, Emily, Amber, and Daniel).

Gracie has such an adventurous streak! She loved the frog ride with cousin Lauren at Silver Dollar City.

Andrew took long leisurely strolls through the park.

Cousin Rebecca is pictured here with Gracie. Rebecca and Lauren made this gorgeous cake for Grace!
And delicious!

We had a great time up at Table Rock Lake. Cute cabin, campfire, smores.......family fun!
Here are Gracie's birthday flowers--our gorgeous hydrangeas. They bloom just in time for her special day!

Part 2 of Gracie's birthday. We spent the day at the Little Rock Zoo with Nana and Papa. Gracie enjoyed a camel ride! She has loved camels ever since we saw one at the Crossett Zoo. She always talks about "camel dirt," a.k.a. any kind of dirt that gets on her and needs to be washed off. This is Emily the Camel. Gracie wants to go back and ride Sassy next! Present time!
I love this shot of my parents.
Love her cheesy grin!
Checkin' out her new shades.
Cake time! Gracie associates birthdays with sharing cake. It's very sweet that she wants to share--she doesn't want to eat alone.

At the end of the day, we pulled the curtains and Clay got our present to Gracie set up on the deck. I wanted to get her swimsuit on while Clay was setting up, but all she wanted to do was go outside. When we finally pulled the curtains and showed her the pool, she cried "happy, happy, happy!" And then got into her suit in a jiffy. What a fun day!
